My favorite pregnancy books.

I love reading.  I’m a book worm.  I love my kindle, I love my books.  But there’s one thing about pregnancy books – THERE’S SO MANY to choose from!  You can easily get into information overload.

I decided to not read everything from Day 1.  I decided that I wasn’t going to have the FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out syndrome!  Sometimes less information is better.  I wanted a peaceful, relaxed and serene (as much as possible) pregnancy.

I thought I would share with you the books I decided to read.  The ones that resonated the most with me.  I hope it does the same to you!

Ina May’s Guide To Childbirth

I love this book.  It brings me so much comfort, so much peace.  I now see the child birthing process as a natural and beautiful thing.
I now understand that I need to work WITH my body and not against it.  I hope you enjoy it!

The Birth Partner - Revised 4th Edition: A Complete Guide to Childbirth for Dads, Doulas, and All Other Labor Companions

The Birth Partner

I’ll admit – my better half & birth partner doesn’t read much.  But this was a great book for me to read!  I loved it.
I also highlighted the areas he needed to read and keep note of.  It’s really a great book!

HypnoBirthing, Fourth Edition: The natural approach to safer, easier, more comfortable birthing - The Mongan Method, 4th Edition

HypnoBirthing: The Morgan Method

I was pulled to read about the power of our mind during childbirth.  And I now see why.  It has changed my perception of childbirth, removed so many fears!  I feel so much more in sync & in touch with my body now.
I often have my better half read parts of it, so that we are on the same page.  It’s a beautiful book!

The Mindful Mom-To-Be: A Modern Doula's Guide To Building A Healthy Foundation From Pregnancy Through Birth

The Mindful Mom-to-Be

A simple yet effective book!  I love the simplicity of the book. It’s easy to read, easy to understand and full of great information!
When we got the news that I was pregnant, I knew that I had to become more mindful, more at peace.  For my own sake but now for my baby’s sake.  This book is my companion in my mindfulness journey.
